CODE × Sustainversity - Civic Champs Green Skills Pilot
Turning civic engagement into green economy careers.
What This Is
CODE's Civic Clubs build a pipeline of Civic Champs advancing the SDGs, climate action, and community development. Through this pilot, Sustainversity's platform gives that pipeline a next step - green economy knowledge, mentorship, and career pathways.
Three competition winners join the Civic Champs network. From there, CODE selects a cohort of 10 Civic Champions to pilot the GINA pathway testing what it looks like to move from civic engagement to certified, career-ready green skills.
The Pathway
CODE Civic Clubs → Civic Champs Mentorship & Leadership → Green Skills Microlearning → Learning & Mentorship → Green Skills Certification → Career Readiness

Model & Vision
This pilot runs on Sustainversity's Option C model - Engagement to Career Pathway with selected elements of Option B, a microlearning integration layer, layered in to complement CODE's existing mentorship structure, not replace it.
Cohort: 10 Civic Champions, selected from the wider Civic Champs network, serving as proof of concept for a potential larger collaboration subject to engagement, outcomes, and mutual assessment.
Vision: CODE identifies, engages, and develops Civic Champs through its civic clubs. Sustainversity converts that engagement into green skills and career pathways — building one continuous line from participation to leadership, certification, career readiness, and community impact.
